Iain inadvertently stumbled into his first sales role when he was 18 and have been selling something or other, ever since. My early years were spent selling Capital Equipment in the construction industry which took him to Annapolis, Maryland as North American Sales Manager for the Platform Rentals Group. He left the US and started his own Recruitment Consultancy which quickly gained Blue Chip clients such as Tesco Stores, Waitrose, Safeway and Arcadia Group. Realizing he wanted to return to a more sales focused role he joined the US Sales Training organization Sandler Sales Institute where he worked for 5 years.
Iain also worked with Microsoft to help set up and run the Microsoft Scotland Sales Academy which was created to deliver Sales Excellence throughout Microsoft & their Partner Network. As Lead Sales Trainer & Sales Coach, he was responsible for the implementation of Sales Process, Sales Methodology and Best Practice in Business Development and Account Management.
