A9 TRUNK ROAD COMMUNITY EMERGENCY PLAN

A9 TRUNK ROAD COMMUNITY EMERGENCY PLAN

The North of Scotland Regional Resilience Partnership (RRP) Community Risk Register (CRR) includes a range of emergencies which could occur within the North of Scotland RRP area. The A9 Trunk Road section between Dunblane in the South to Inverness in the North passes through the Tayside and Highlands & Islands Local Resilience Partnership (LRP) areas. The key risks to the A9 are severe weather and road traffic collisions causing closures at any point along the route which could lead to people becoming vulnerable if trapped or unable to continue their journey for a considerable period of time.
