SBRC's Eamonn Keane discusses how to stay safe from cyber-attacks on BBC Radio Scotland

SBRC’s Head of Cyber and Innovation Eamonn Keane today featured on BBC Radio Scotland’s Mornings show hosted by Kaye Adams to discuss how small businesses can protect themselves against cyber-attacks.

The discussion was centred around this week’s news that the world’s largest retail currency dealer, Travelex, is the latest company to fall victim to a ransomware attack.

A criminal investigation was launched after hackers demanded ransom to stop them publishing the company’s sensitive customer data including credit card information.

Eamonn, along with Tony Neate, CEO of Get Safe Online, joined the discussion on the impact cybercrime has on organisations and ways small businesses can protect themselves from cyber-attacks.
